The National Cathedral Parking
Gorove Slade Associates has consulted to the National Cathedral on
traffic and parking matters for the past 15 years. We are currently helping
the Cathedral to fulfill a resolution to develop a self-sustaining parking
system within the next 5 years. A Comprehensive Parking Master Plan is under
development and four sites have been selected for potential implementation
of underground parking facilities. These parking garages will be designed
to have no visual impact on the sacred and historic architecture and landscape

tour buses that bring 500,000 tourists to the Cathedral every year. Federal Agency Security Planning and Design
