For years the Kennedy Warren Apartments, nicknamed
"The Old Lady of The Avenue," has sat on Connecticut Avenue overlooking
the National Zoo. 70 years after its construction, the B.F. Saul Company
has proposed construction of a third wing of the complex.
As part of the development team, Gorove/Slade Associates worked with the surrounding community groups to satisfy their needs. In addition to community interaction and public testimony, G/SA worked with the city DPW and architects to formulate a plan to view the site, driveway and the parking garage.
