Gorove/Slade has had numerous traffic and parking assignments with Georgetown University over the past two decades.  These have involved traditional approaches to improving conditions on campus and mitigating impacts on the adjacent neighborhoods.   

Gorove/Slade served as technical advisor to the medical center in helping to create a new parking management system.  This was part of a restructuring when the university decided to split the medical center and the academic campus parking systems into separate entities.  Gorove/Slade was the transportation consultant to the University’s Campus Master Plan update in 2000, has continued to work on specific buildings as the plan was implemented, and is currently working on the 2011 update of the Campus Master Plan.   Individual projects have included work related to the McDonough School of Business, the South Student Center, a multi-sports facility, and the Georgetown University Law Center.  As part of the 2011 Plan update, Gorove/Slade has worked with adjacent communities, District agencies and University staff to recommend ways to improve the multi-modal and sustainable aspects of the campus transportation network.
