Rob Schiesel, PE


Rob is a Principal overseeing the firms Transportation Planning Practice. He specializes in multi-modal solutions and strategic planning for campuses, neighborhoods, and large developments, helping to define the hierarchy and role of each mode as they interact in urban environments.

In the District, Rob has helped develop multi-modal solutions for Howard University, The Wharf, the RFK Stadium and DC Armory campus, Nationals Park and Audi Field. In Virginia, Rob has worked with Alexandria City and Arlington County public school on several sites, as well as George Mason University and Segra Field. Nationwide, Rob has developed transportation plans on numerous college campuses, including The Ohio State University, Indiana University, Kennesaw State University, and Wayne State University.

Rob holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Erin and his two daughters, Evie and Alexa.
