Carl is based in our Richmond office and he has 22 years of experience in a wide range of traffic and transportation projects including Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA), traffic signal warrant analysis, traffic signal design, parking demand analysis, and site access and circulation planning. He has worked for private, public and institutional clients across the Southeast. His market practice area includes nearly all of Virginia – including the Richmond, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Roanoke / Blacksburg, Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Winchester, Staunton and Hampton Roads metro areas. Carl performs traffic studies in West Virginia on a regular basis and has also done work in Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee in the past for various clients. He is responsible for managing the Richmond office work production and staffing team.
Carl is an active member of the Virginia Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (VASITE), the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Carl was born and raised in Maryland but has lived in Richmond since 2011. He is married with three daughters, one son, and a golden retriever named Maggie. In his spare time, he enjoys family time, running 5k’s, snow skiing, and learning about history.
